I am REALLY looking forward to some fun Seattle-area events this fall.

Like one of my favorite "Junk" Markets -- 2nd Saturdayz, the next date is October 8 in Seattle. I'm counting the days...

Then on October 21st and 22nd-- the glorious Ruffles and Rust at The Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe

On October 29th, The Island Retreat Antique & Vintage Market, produced by Retreat Design in Anacortes. Bound to be a beautiful show.

 

 And in November-- the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in Bellevue on November 11th and 12th.

Snap Cap StitchCraft

When I was a little girl, my cousins gave me a wonderful hand me down-- a Scottish Tartan skirt representing my family's clan.  I felt so special wearing it. 

Many years later, I'm still mad for plaid.

My Vintage Pad: Cindy and Steve's Place for Vintage Indie

Hi There...

I wrote a "My Vintage Pad" post for Vintage Indie and it's up today.  

As usual I took too many photos(!) so here are a few I wasn't able to use in my VI post.

Great takeaway idea... collect sand from different destinations in upcycled glass jars, label and display it
