You know that Monthy Python song– “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life?” Sometimes I hear it in my head on a loop! It seemed like a good sentiment for a pair of funny coffee mugs.
This would be a fun gift for a college student, newly married couple or friend. All you need are some white mugs, Martha Stewart Crafts Multi Surface Glow-in-Dark Paint in bright shades, a foam dauber and a Sharpie pen… simple!
Use your Sharpie to handwrite out your sentiment. Tip: If you make a boo-boo, don’t flip. Grab some nail polish remover and a Q-Tip… you can easily fix your mistake. After the ink has dried, add some dots of paint.
Martha Stewart Craft Paint will cure after three weeks OR you can “bake it.” Simply let the paint air dry for an hour and then pop it in the oven at 350 degrees for thirty minutes– same story for the Sharpie. Let it sit for 72 hours before using.
